ACORN CARDS

ACORN CUSTOM CARDS
Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s):
Please be advised that our school is taking part in the Acorn Custom Cards fundraising program once again this year!
Acorn Custom Cards is an innovative fundraising program that rewards students, their families and their schools.  Unlike other programs that rely on students, and often their parents to sell something, the Acorn Custom Cards program encourages our students to participate in our school’s fundraising, not merely by selling but by creating!
In a nutshell, Acorn provides a standard art sheet for each student participant in the school.  (They also provide extra sheets for siblings and parents so if you are interested, please inquire on their website.)  This artwork is then recreated into customized, professional quality products displaying your artist’s work.  All personalized items are neatly packaged for you or to give as gifts to friends and family. And let’s not forget, a significant portion of the purchase price is going directly to your child’s school.  We hope you will agree that this fundraising initiative has value for all involved.
Benefits at a Glance
·        Ties in with our school curriculum  and very practical
·        Unique, priceless keepsake
·        Family purchased, no solicitation required
·        Builds student self esteem
·        Fun to create, send and receive
·        Effective, a generous percentage of your purchase goes directly to our school!

Students will be bringing home an information flyer and a completed work of art that can be reproduced as your set of beautiful, professionally manufactured, set of greeting cards, post cards, calendars and/or placemats.  Please fill out the order information requested on the back and return to school the art sheet/order form and your payment by the due date of April 9th.  In early May you will receive your greeting cards while helping us reach our fundraising goals.
Thank you in advance for supporting our school.
Sincerely,
Amanda White-Pressey
